“Israeli Apartheid Week,” or “Justice in Palestine Week,” which took place on at least 30 campuses this year is organized by elements of the Muslim Brotherhood that  is part of the globally organized campaign to finish the job that Hitler started.  The centerpiece of these Hate Weeks is an “Apartheid Wall” whose purpose is to identify Israel as a racist state and worthy of destruction. This is two lies rolled into one. “Apartheid” refers to racial or ethnic segregation. There are more than a million Palestinian Arabs living in Israel as Israeli citizens with more rights than the Arabs of any other Middle Eastern state  or Muslims in any Muslim state in the world. The wall is to keep terrorists not Palestinians out. In the second place it is not a wall. It is a security fence which has reduced terrorist attacks against pizza parlors and public transportation buses in Israel by 95%.

The creators of the Apartheid propaganda wall — the Muslim Students Association and Students for Justice in Palestine are supporters of the genocidal attacks on Israel and have refused on campus after campus to condemn Hamas and Hizbollah as terrorist organizations. The propaganda wall is plastered with more lies, that Israel occupies Palestinian land, that Jews target civilians and so forth. The Muslim hate weeks are climaxed by commemorations of the “Nakba” or “catastrophe” which is the way Jew haters and jihadists refer to the birth of the Jewish state.

These events, funded by student fees and sometimes taxpayer funds, exist to spread genocidal lies designed to make the destruction of Israel appear as a righteous act. In this section of the Freedom Center Students website, we will be listing and tracking all of these hate-fests and provide links to the specific events and funding figures where we can find them.  We’ve listed below a few of the lies that are being told during these weeks:

1) The “Apartheid” Walls: Israel is the most tolerant, inclusive and egalitarian state in the entire Middle East. It has more than a million citizens who are Arabs and who enjoy more rights than the Arabs of any other Middle Eastern state. To see apartheid in action, look at any Muslim country, where you will find apartheid against women, against gays, and against every other minority.

2) The Israeli “Occupation”: There is no occupation.  There was no Palestinian or Arab land to be stolen.  Israel was created out of the ruins of the Turkish Empire in the same way that Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq were created. Jordan’s population is 70% Palestinian Arab yet it is ruled by Hashemites. There is no protest of this injustice because the Palestinian cause is driven by Jew hatred not a desire for self-determination.  The Turks ruled the entire region around the Jordan for 400 years from the 16^th Century until Turkey’s defeat in World War I. The name “Palestine” did not describe a people but a geographical region. The name “Palestine” is not an Arabic name. It was applied to the historic homeland of the Jews by the Romans who conquered Judea and dispersed its inhabitants and to punish them gave their homeland the name of their enemies — the Philistines. From the 7^th Century when Arabs first arrived in the region to the 20^th Century, there has never been a Palestinian national movement because the inhabitants regarded themselves as Arabs not Palestinians.

3) The refugees: The records show that when the Arab armies invaded Israel, the Arab governments called on the people who were living in that area to flee and return with the five Arab armies that invaded the infant Jewish state in an attempt to crush it at birth.  There were 600,000 Jews who were actually driven out of the Arab countries of the Middle East. They were resettled. There are no Jewish refugees today. The Palestinian refugees are refugees because no Arab country will re-settle them. The Palestinian refugee problem is entirely the creation of the Arab states. Billions of dollars in money from the United States and Israel that was given to help the refugees resettle has been stolen by the Palestinian leaders, placed in Swiss bank accounts, and used to arm terrorist groups.
