Pumpkins and Pedophilia: Do Pedophiles Have Constitutional Rights to Celebrate Halloween?

Do sex offenders have constitutional rights to celebrate Halloween?  Civil rights attorneys and activists say yes.  What do American parents think about child rapists handing out candy to innocent children, who may become the next fixation for violent criminals?  Who deserves constitutional rights, children or thieves of childhood innocence?  And, is this really a constitutional [...]

Christian’s Civil Rights Caged By Overbearing State

Every time I think something is the last straw, that “they” (The Powers That Be) have gone too far, something happens to lower the bar to even more ridiculous levels than a Sylvester and Tweety Bird cartoon. Case in point is this latest headline from Fox News: Michigan Woman Faces Civil Rights Complaint for Seeking [...]

New York Times Editorial Fires At Pro-Gun Supreme Court Ruling

Not surprisingly, as I predicted yesterday, the gun prohibitionists are attacking the Supreme Court’s correct decision yesterday interpreting  the Second Amendment according to its original intent -  as a fundamental individual constitutional right to keep and bear arms. The New York Times in its lead editorial today called the Court’s reasoning “infuriating abstract.” I call the Court’s opinion refreshingly judicious.
Progressives [...]

Major Second Amendment Victory

The Supreme Court, by a 5-4 majority, has once again vindicated the rights of individuals to keep and bear arms as constitutionally guaranteed by the Second Amendment.  The Court today extended to the states and local governments its 2008 ruling that individuals have a federally protected individual right to keep and bear arms, questioning the constitutionality of  Chicago’s [...]
